Azafady
is able to provide the infrastructure within which you
can do your research, without the hassle of setting
up your own government contracts or trying to obtain
permits and visas. We can do it all for you. Azafady
has a range of base camps in many different eco-systems
including littoral forest, dry (spiny) forest, transitional
forest, rain forest, montane forest, coastal eco-systems,
marine habitat, brackish water habitat, and on marine
coral. We also have the staff and experience to make
your conservation research project work.
Examples of subjects of great interest to us at the
moment include: |
|
|
|
|
| |
- Brackish water eco-systems - monitoring
change over time - before and after mineral sand
exploitation.
- Littoral forest processes - monitoring
change over time - regeneration studies
- Littoral forest flora - the palms of south
east Madagascar - taxonomy
- Rain forest flora - the palms of south
east Madagascar - taxonomy
- Littoral forest flora - establishment of
locally protected
in-situ gene banks
- The exploitation of non-timber forest products
in Madagascar
