"It has been an amazing experience-brilliant fun, enlightening, testing, rewarding, and very memorable. I have learnt a lot about how an NGO operates in the 'real world' and the true struggles of both the people running such charities and the people who they are helping."

  Why Intern with Azafady?
..................................................................................................
There are hundreds of not-for-profits, charities, and NGOs in the world that people are able to intern with, however Azafady has numerous aspects that set it apart from the rest. Above all, everything that we do contributes directly to better the lives of some of the most impoverished communities in the world. You can be assured that all the projects you will be working on will help to benefit the people in Madagascar whilst simultaneously helping you fulfil the requirements of your internship.

Due to the nature of grassroots development work, Azafady works directly with the local communities to ensure that what we do there is accepted and useful to the people of Madagascar. The range of projects that our interns work on will be implemented in conjunction with our Malagasy staff and the people from the villages. The Internship Program is truly unique because it allows interns to work within an organization that tackles development problems from a local perspective in a way that is in tune with the beliefs and culture of the local people

Some of the skills that you will acquire from interning with us are:
