"For a small organization, the work being done is extraordinary, professional and inspirational. It’s been a genuine pleasure to be associated with Azafady, and will always be in a special place in my heart."

  Costs
..................................................................................................
We ask volunteers to raise a minimum donation of £2,200 (or £1,400 if you opt to go for just four weeks). All the funds raised by volunteers are donated to Azafady (Registered Charity No. 1079121) with the bulk of this donation going directly to support the project work you will be participating in.

This donation will cover you for all in-country travel costs (excluding flights), project costs, training, meals for eight weeks and plenty of safe water, use of campsite facilities, orientation and language classes upon arrival and a dedicated team to guide you in Madagascar, plus a full-time London-based staff member to answer all your pre-project questions and help with fundraising.

Don't let the size of the required donation put you off! Azafady UK is there to support volunteers in raising this donation, with a wealth of fundraising experience and resources available to volunteers.

Pre-project costs usually come to approximately £1,000 (paid by the individual and include flights, visa, insurance, personal equipment, medical preparations and vaccinations etc.)

To cover any additional in-country costs, we suggest about £250 pocket money; more if you plan to travel in Madagascar after the program.
